Providing medical education is an important role for the College and we have a large dedicated education team working in general practices around New Zealand. We are currently seeking two visiting medical educators (MEs) for the Waikato region.

Depending on the region, the number of registrars can vary and be negotiable.
The Visiting ME role is primarily to assist the registrar to identify their professional development and learning needs, and to visit the registrar in their practice once a year. V
isits are educational and each visit is usually of 4 hours duration. The ME will prepare a report on their visit to the candidate after each visit.
Training workshops are provided, and each ME is required to attend one workshop annually. Reimbursement is based on the number of registrars.
