Providing medical education is an important role of the College, and we have a dedicated team providing quality education and assessment for our specialist General Practice Education Programme (GPEP).
We're looking for experienced Fellows to join our Fellowship Assessor team, to assess GPEP registrars against the College's Fellowship standards.
We'd like to hear from Fellows who have:
- excellent communication skills
- the ability to analyse and interpret data
- an understanding of health equity and cultural competency
- background in medical education, including assessment (essential) - this might include having been a GP teacher/ supervisor for undergraduate or GPEP placements, a trainer or examiner for allied health programmes
- The ability to speak fluent Te Reo or other languages would be ideal but not essential.
The role requires travel, so we're looking for applicants with flexibility to travel.
Remuneration is in accordance with other similar College roles, and full training will be provided. This is a rewarding opportunity to be involved with general practice education.
