The College is a professional membership organisation which works to strengthen the professionalism and practice of its members.  The College provides education, assessment, quality and support services for general practitioners and rural hospital medicine; and represents its members by providing advice and expertise to government and within the wider health sector. The College delivers the General Practice Education Programme.  Registrars who complete the programme gain vocational registration in General Practice, and fellowship of the College. 

Our team of four Programme Advisors and two Senior Programme Advisors, work closely with Registrars to support them to complete their training programme. The Advisors also work closely with our Medical Educators to help coordinate the delivery of the programme across the country. 

Senior Programme Advisor

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take a lead on more complex queries, develop and design sustainable processes and really help shape an improved programme that adds value across the training/education of General Practice. Experience in leadership is preferred.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Experience in interpreting and correctly applying complex rules and regulations 
Professionalism and business focussed
Sound judgement and good problem solving skills 
Experience in issue identification with the ability to articulate high quality solutions
Excellent customer service skills and experience
A strong clear communicator with experience in developing relationships at all levels
An ability to manage competing and changing demands in a busy environment
Strong technology skills, including the MS office suite
Analytical skills
