Membership categories and fees
College members pay an annual membership fee.
Registrars (doctors completing their GPEP or Division of Rural Hospital Medicine training) also pay training fees for each year they are enrolled in training (invoiced separately).
The membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March. Please note that all fees noted below exclude GST and are valid until 31 March 2025. In addition a faculty levy ($80 or $40) and research and education levy ($10) applies.

Fellows
A Fellow has been assessed under the College's Fellowship regulations and is vocationally registered in the scope of general practice or rural hospital medicine.

A Member is enrolled in the College’s GPEP programme and has successfully passed the College’s examinations.

An Associate in Training is enrolled in the GPEP and/or rural hospital medicine programme but is yet to pass the College’s examinations.
