Acne: Management and prescribing of Isotretinoin

This half-day online session offers an in-depth understanding of acne, covering its causes, differential diagnosis and treatment strategies.

Speakers

Paul Jarrett, a Dermatologist, works at Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau and The University of Auckland. He is an Honorary Associate Professor at the Universities of Auckland and Otago. He specifically focuses on medical dermatology, including psoriasis, eczema and acne, with a sub-specialty interest in connective tissue disease.

Orna McGinn is a GP with a special interest in women’s health and is the Clinical Director of Primary Care Women’s Health at Auckland DHB. Bruce Arroll is a GP and Professor, with an interest in in rapid non-drug treatments of mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety.

By the end of this session, you’ll feel confident in your ability to manage acne effectively, including the judicious use of isotretinoin.
