By completing these indicators, practices can be assured they are adhering to the NZ requirements and delivering safe and quality care. Emergency continuity prepares practices for a range of disasters and emergencies, ensuring the least disruption to the delivery of health care. The safety checking and education requirements as per The Children’s’ Act (2014), facilitates a safe environment for children and the appropriate management of neglect and abuse.
